Affiliated Genetics has provided the public with some of the most affordable, accurate and confidential DNA testing for the past 17 years. We often receive inquires about the storage of DNA. DNA banking is becoming widely used, with various companies charging hundreds of dollars for a service that you can perform yourself at a fraction of the cost. Affiliated Genetics is pleased to provide the public with this low cost home collection and storage kit.

Affiliated Genetics will send you an easy to use kit, which contains everything you will need. First a cheek swab that is used to gently and painlessly rub the inside of the mouth. There is a specially treated storage card provided on which DNA can be stored indefinitely at room temperature without degradation. A protective storage pouch will also be provided with a labeling area for sample information. Most importantly you will be provided with detailed, easy to follow instructions and a toll free information number in the event you need to ask any questions.

Affiliated Genetics will not require you to send your DNA samples to our laboratory for analysis, preservation, storage or any other purpose. We will not ask you to buy needless storage containers or certificates of authenticity. You will be in control of your families DNA samples at all times. Of course, we recommend that you store your samples in a safe place such as a safety deposit box, or vault, but there is no need to pay a laboratory for this service.
