DNA Paternity Testing
- All DNA testing to be performed by an AABB accredited laboratory
- DNA samples to be collected by AGI or another approved draw site
- Photo I.D. to be presented at collection and copies sent in with samples
- Signature and thumb print collected with polaroid photo at time of draw
- Chain of custody maintained throughout collection and testing
Samples can be from blood or cheek swab.
The actual analysis of the samples is identical to at-home testing. The cost is higher because of the additional costs in handling and preparing court-admissible reports and affidavits. Test results are available within about 2 weeks of sample receipt. Frequently asked questions are answered here.
